Artwork guides

Preferred File Formats:

  • PDF (vector format preferred)

Colour Mode:

  • All artwork must be created in CMYK for full-colour printing.
  • If your design uses specific spot colours, please include the Pantone (PMS) codes when submitting your file.

Bleed and Margins:

  • Include a 3 mm bleed on all sides of your artwork.
  • Keep important elements (text, logos, borders) at least 3 mm inside the trim edge to avoid cutting errors.

Vector and Fonts:

  • All text must be converted to outlines/curves.
  • All images and logos must be vectorised (no rasterised logos).
  • Linked or embedded images should be supplied in high resolution (300 dpi).

Logos and Pantones:

  • When submitting logos, please include:
  • Vector files PDF
  • Pantone colour codes for accurate colour reproduction
  • Pantone references should be from the PANTONE Solid Coated library unless otherwise specified.

File Naming:

  • Use clear filenames such as BrandName_ProductName_Size_Date.pdf to avoid confusion.

Common Artwork Mistakes to Avoid:

  • Low-resolution or pixelated images
  • Artwork supplied in RGB (will print with colour shifts)
  • Missing bleed or incorrect dimensions
  • Fonts not converted to outlines
  • Raster-only logos instead of vector versions
  • Missing Pantone colour details
  • Incorrect or mismatched colour spaces between elements

Artwork Approval:

  • Before production, we’ll send you a digital proof showing the layout for final approval.
  • Once approved, any errors or omissions become the client’s responsibility, so please check your proof carefully.
